On my way home. What a weekend! Highlights: crazy races, I got to talk to (they don’t actually hate me and there’s a chance I’ll show up in their feed) and rode the Gremlin (evolve’s green board with all the limits removed) and didn’t die from the hair trigger insane launch to 22mph where it stops accelerating, rode a Speedboard which is basically a lean steer scooter with no handlebars and fat tires and didn’t fall off, let about 50 people try our Defiant:One esk8 and got a f**k load of “woah that’s awesome!” and “holy s**t that’s a sick board!”, got to see a lot of awesome people I love who are riders and vendors, hung out with the Zoobomb crew who barely knocked us off the sportsman podium (our rider was on thane and only in mode two and still almost took third from / metroboard who took all three spots), hugged EVERYBODY, autographed people’s shirts snd boards (apparently people think I’m sort of famous, weird) , and made some good connections, got some great intel, and possibly found some ambassadors for Defiant! Hectic, stressful, exciting, awesome, totally worth the crazy logistics, delayed baggage, and flight delays. See you next year !

Taken just after we set up Saturday morning, just before they let the rush in. The line was down the street to get in. It got so busy I wasn’t able to go around taking pics, but I did get to walk around the lot with the 360 cam after it got crazy busy so look for that on YouTube soon. Absolute madness. Everyone showed up.
