Berg's Beads Handmade bead creations - everyone needs a bit of sparkle in their lives. Many years ago I wanted some more fun earrings, but I refused to pierce my ears.

So, my path took me to making my own earrings for non-pierced earrings. But finding all these cool beads (glass, metal, stone and even plastic) just inspired me to do more. And more. From simple stringing to the more complex woven (e.g., Kumihimo) styles, it just keeps getting more and more interesting.

New bracelet and new 3D star available on bergsbeads.etsy.com. Bracelet is Celeste - folded rainbow (motif repeats evry ~1.5"). Star is Helen - 7 color ribbons on the front and pinwheel on the back (I did it in Christmas colors, but you could choose light/dark of three colors plus background).

Happy Veterans Day. Pictured is my grandfather, Peder, in a candid shot circa 1949, California. He served as a career military man, from WWI (France), between the wars (primiarly the Territory of Hawaii) and through WWII. US Army (infantry), US Army Air Corps and US Air Force.
