A few weeks ago I got to be a creative facilitator at a retreat and we made vision journals… one of my favorite things to do with women.

The first rule is always the same…
you’re not allowed to say, “I’m not an artist”

Because it’s just not true!
We are all creative
We are all creating our lives every single day.

There was one woman who was really nervous to even start. She had been told her whole life she wasn’t the creative one in her family
So she believed it.
And then… something shifted

She started picking images, playing with colors, layering things together
And her journal turned out so beautiful

But it wasn’t even about how it looked, It was the shift in how she saw herself!
That’s the part that gets me every time

One of the cutest things is watching women let themselves get lost in it.
Sometimes it’s hard to even get them to stop and move on because they’re so into it
So focused, so lit up 🕯️
It fills my heart in the best way 🥰

Because we’re not just cutting words out of magazines.
It’s deeper than that
It’s personal.
It’s a mindful, hands-on way of manifesting

Sometimes the simplest things end up being the most powerful…
Sitting with words, images, textures, crystals, feathers… just creating something that’s yours

I’m not the best at drawing or painting…
But I’m still an artist 🧑‍🎨
And I love helping other women remember that they are too!🎨 🖌️
