Paracord was originally used by the military to attach their parachutes to themselves. The cord is rot & mildew resistant and can hold up to 550 lbs. The cord is made up of 7 inner strands, each of which can support at least 50 lbs. Paracord was discovered to be randomly useful for all sorts of things; emergency fishing line, replacement shoelace, constructing shelter, fixing a broken pack. Soldie
rs began carrying extra cord around, some weaving the cord into bracelets to keep it with them in case of emergency. These "survival" bracelets spread into the world of hiking and camping, and the development of new colors made the bracelets pretty awesome looking as well as useful. Paracord bracelets are now very popular for showing team colors, cancer awareness, or just your favorite colors. These bracelets have totally gone mainstream..they're even popping up at walmart and 7-11. What makes my products different/way better? I use only the best paracord...USA made 550 paracord from a trusted military supplier. I know my bracelets are crazy-awesome, but their functionality is not compromised for style. I can do both :) I take great care in creating my products, and I would never sell anything I wouldn't wear myself.
