After much thought, I've decided to rename my business from Salem Mercantile to The Curated Nest Co.
When I chose the name Salem Mercantile, it was simply inspired by the small Alabama community I call home. Over time, however, I realized that many people understandably associated the name with Salem, Massachusetts, the Salem Witch Trials, or themes of witchcraft. While those connections were never the inspiration behind my business, I understand how the name could create confusion.
As my business continues to grow, I wanted a name that better reflects what I truly offer: a thoughtfully curated collection of home décor, unique finds, vintage treasures, and handcrafted pieces that help make a house feel like a home.
The Curated Nest Co. represents exactly that—a place for gathered treasures, meaningful finds, and beautiful items that bring warmth and personality to your nest.
