Sweet Shay has spent her entire life living outside on a chain, and when her family moved, they sadly couldn't take her with them. Now, at 5 years old, this beautiful Lab mix is hoping to find a loving family who will give her the life she deserves.

Despite her past, Shay is such a sweet and friendly girl! She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she feels comfortable, she loves affection, treats, and playing with toys, especially tennis balls! She knows how to sit and give paw, walks nicely on a leash, and even understands Spanish! Our staff noticed she really started to relax and wag her tail when they spoke to her in Spanish.

Shay is good with dogs and has lived with children, although a home with older kids would be best. She will need a home without cats. Loud noises can make her nervous, so a patient family who can give her time to adjust would be wonderful.

After spending her whole life outdoors, we would love to see Shay finally enjoying the comfort of a home, a soft bed, and a family who will love her forever.

Thanks to her generous friends at J.R. Dunn Jewelers, Shay's adoption fee has been paid! If you would like to meet her, please fill out a pre-adoption application online and visit the Humane Society of Broward County at 2070 Griffin Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL. This 3.61 carat pear-shaped diamond engagement ring is an original design by Robert Pelliccia, our award-winning in-house designer. He works in the studio inside our showroom, sketching and shaping each piece just steps from where our clients shop. Set in 18K yellow gold with calf-cut and tapered baguette diamonds, its sculptural design makes a bold statement from every angle. 💛

What an afternoon! 💗🤍 We were honored to return as the Official Jeweler of the 22nd Annual Go Pink Luncheon at The Boca Raton today, supporting and the breast cancer programs at the Christine E. Lynn Women’s Institute. The room was filled with sponsors, guests, mothers, sisters, survivors and supporters, all united by a cause that touches so many of us.

As the cherry on top of an already moving day, Tony and Emmy Award winner Kristin Chenoweth, Broadway’s original Glinda in Wicked, shared a heartfelt story in support of breast cancer research and then sang an a ca****la “Over the Rainbow” that left the room in awe. ✨

Kristin took the stage in pink tourmalines by Robert Pelliccia, a fitting tribute to the day. His award-winning designs are shown exclusively at J.R. Dunn Jewelers, and we welcome you to discover them in person at our Lighthouse Point showroom.

We’re also thrilled for the lucky winner of our Pop for Pink raffle, who took home a $5,000 shopping spree at J.R. Dunn Jewelers! We were proud to contribute to the fundraising. 🥂
