Women of color are at increased risk for some serious and dangerous health conditions. Why does this happen, and what can be done to level the playing field?
This annual conference helps to spotlight these health disparities and provides informative presentations on the prevention, treatment, and survivorship of various health issues primarily affecting women of color.
Our goal is to share ways of lowering the incidence rates of these diseases by addressing the root causes of them and also raising awareness of the blatant and implicit bias affecting women of color and how to manage these forces successfully.
We can become more proactive when armed with this information, such as what is being offered, which is free. The presentations will come from highly qualified healthcare professionals.
