We met on Tinder at a time when I had honestly given up hope. I was still using the app mostly out of boredom, never expecting anything meaningful to come from it. But during the fall, we started talking and immediately connected. Our conversations felt effortless, full of natural banter and shared interests.
When he asked me out on a date, I said yes without thinking too much of it — but the moment we met, we both knew there was something special between us.
Building Our Own Little World
One of the biggest things we bonded over was video games. If we weren’t together in person, we were talking on the phone or staying up all night playing games together.
A few months into our relationship, my 13-year-old soul dog passed away. It was one of the most painful moments of my life, and he became my rock through all of it. He supported me, loved me, and helped me heal in ways I’ll never forget.
