SL CLASSIC ‘26: the tradition continues!

On Sunday, over 300 runners signed up to loop the reservoir, drink cold brew and nom down donuts 🍩 The course record for the 2.01 miles was smashed down to 9:03, tons of run gear was donated to and race proceeds benefit local legends

This is what we mean by peak run culture, people!

Thank you to all of you in the LA run community who make time for each other and time for this little race, our fearless 2026 race leaders and , the SLTC board + captains and dozens of amazing volunteers for making this happen!! And of course award sponsors and for their gifts and support 😘

BRING OLD RUNNING SHOES + RUN/OUTDOOR GEAR: We’re partnered with so please bring your used (and clean!) old run-ing shoes, clothing, etc and it will get a new life with someone who needs it.

PRIZE CATEGORIES: shoes + prizes: Top 3 for Open Men’s, Open Women’s, Masters Men, Masters Women, Open Non-Binary / Masters Non-Binary

RACE DAY ORDER OF EVENTS

7:00 am-8:30 am bib pick up, free coffee + donuts + hangs

8:50am group photo - runners and spectators

8:55 am race line up

9:00 am SHARP race (medals for all finishers)

9:45 am kid’s 100m dash

10:00 am awards and more! Stay until the end!

RECOMMENDATIONS

Bring beach chairs and blankets, make it a hang

Plan to arrive early, parking around the reserovir fills up!
