Today I did something HARD, y’all! 😫🤣🤣 I really had to figure out how to do a SECOND GRADER’S homework in 2026! 😂

I’m not even gonna lie… I don’t understand why they make it so complicated! 🤦🏽‍♀️ But hey, if that’s the way they’re teaching it, then that’s the way I need to learn it too.

I took the time to learn this new method so I can help Loyalty with her homework this school year. And after our little homework session, it actually came to her a LOT easier! 🙌🏽📚

If you ask me, it seems a little unnecessary sometimes, BUT clearly they must be doing it for a reason! 😂

Just know this mama is going back to school right alongside her kids! 🥹❤️📚

I don’t know about y’all, but one thing about my kids… they are NEVER afraid to go dumpster diving. 😂 And honestly? I’m gonna let them every time.

Today my son had me pull over because he spotted a pair of shoes sitting on the corner. Before we even made it home, he already had a whole business plan mapped out. His goal? Clean them up, flip them, and put that money toward buying his Sprayground backpack for school. 💯

Some people see trash… my kids see opportunity. I’m teaching them that you don’t always have to start with money—you can start with vision, creativity, and hustle. That’s a lesson that’ll take them a lot farther than any backpack ever could.

I know I said I wasn’t throwing another birthday party for the rest of the year… 😂🤦🏾‍♀️

But then Loyalty said she wanted a Japan-inspired Roku Nana birthday, and somehow I ended up making an EXTRA-LARGE Chinese takeout box for the party. 😭🤣

The things we do for our babies! Please tell me I’m not the only parent who says “never again”… then goes all out anyway. 😂❤️

Today was one of those days we’ll never forget. 🥹❤️

Loyalty told me she wanted to go to Japan for her birthday. I had to break it to her that it was a little too late to plan a trip, but I told her, “If we can’t go to Japan, we’ll bring Japan to you!” 🇯🇵✨

So we headed downtown to Chinatown to grab supplies for her Roku Nana birthday party, and while we were there, we treated ourselves to some delicious juice and some absolutely BANGING food right down the street from Bank of America. 😋 If you’re ever downtown, you have to try both spots—they did not disappoint!

Before heading home, we made one more stop at Dollar Tree for ice cream. We ended up buying way too many popsicles, so instead of letting them go to waste, we handed them out to people walking down the street because this California heat was NO joke. ☀️🍦 Seeing those smiles made our day even better.

To top it all off, we went home and attempted the Spider-Man Challenge. 😂 I don’t know what we were thinking, but we laughed until our stomachs hurt!

Sometimes the best memories aren’t made on expensive vacations—they’re made by making the most of what you have, spending time together, and spreading a little kindness along the way. ❤️
