Juniper Ridge Opal, 1.8cts, Design based on Checkpoint by Andrew Ian Brown. As a geologist, I love gems with inclusions of all sorts - they hint at the history of the gem’s formation and add a little wonder. E.g., How and why did that veil form in the middle of this opal, which had no visible defects that reached the surface?
