James Pierre Today is the day, y’all! We made it! 💜

Listen, I know it’s a little chilly outside here in Boston, but don’t let that stop you from coming out and having a good time because the 5th Annual Arts in the Park is HERE!

I’m getting myself together, packing up all my artwork and goodies, and I’ve got a few errands to run before I head over.

I’ll have some original artwork, prints, journals, and other creative treasures, plus a little hands-on sewing activity for anybody who wants to come make some art with me!

We’ll be at Sennott Park in Cambridge from 1 to 5 PM today.

So throw on a sweater, grab a friend, bring the family, and come through! Support your local artists, enjoy some creativity, and spend a little time in community.

I’ll see y’all later this afternoon!

Peace & loves, ZNT Arts family! 💜🎨

October is OCTOBERING, and spooky season is officially upon us! 👻 But before we get into all the Halloween festivities, we’ve got a weekend full of art, creativity, and community!
This Saturday, come find me at the 5th Annual Arts in the Park in Cambridge! I’ll have original ZNT Arts artwork, prints, journals, greeting cards, and more, plus a hands-on sewing and art-making experience for the community.

Sunday, we’re closing out our Open Streets season in Roslindale! The ZNT Arts team will be bringing Art from the Heart with face painting, glitter tattoos, and some fun fall and spooky-inspired designs!
And we’re not done yet! We’ve got a few more Halloween happenings coming your way before October wraps up.

Swipe through, mark your calendars, and come show some love to your local artists and community! 🫶🏾

Also, the October ZNT Arts newsletter has officially landed! If you missed it and would like a copy, drop me a DM and I’ll be happy to share it with you. 💜

As always, love & abundance!

P.S.

And did I tell y’all I did a thing?! 👀 My poetry and artwork were recently published in Land, Food and Freedom, a publication celebrating Black agriculture, ancestral roots, and our connection to the land. Check the link in my bio to explore the publication and support this beautiful work!

So appreciative of such a wonderful start to a beautiful weekend! Thank you to everyone who popped outside yesterday for Day 1 of the 27th Annual Roxbury Open Studios at the Bruce C. Bolling Building. 🫶🏾🎨

And guess what?! ZNT Arts and all the things you love are BACK in the building today! We are already on site and will be here until 5 PM.

It’s a BEAUTIFUL day in Boston, so get outside and come through before the possible rain! ☀️ There are so many amazing local artists, makers and creatives to support.

A couple of my creative friends I have to shout out: LAMBPOTS CERAMICS EST 2010 has his custom handcrafted pottery, and Cagen Luse has his amazing art and comics. And that’s just a few of the talented folks in the building!

Of course, you can also find ZNT Arts original artwork, journals, greeting cards, Afrocentric Christmas & Kwanzaa cards and more PLUS our Roxbury Open Studios weekend specials. 👀🛍️

Peace ! Just like that… it’s OCTOBER! 🍂🎨

Like wow, can you believe we’re only a few months away from the end of the year?! Where did the time go?! 😂

As always, you can probably find me somewhere in an art studio making art, teaching art or creating something. And speaking of studios…

Roxbury Open Studios is happening this weekend!
I remember when Roxbury Open Studios used to be at Hibernian Hall and it was a VIBE! And let me tell you, last year was absolutely amazing. Come out this Saturday and Sunday to support local artists, crafters and artisans from Roxbury and beyond at the historic Bruce C. Bolling Building. 💜

And speaking of Sunday…

Face Painting by ZNT Arts will be at Allston-Brighton Open Streets! 🎨✨ We’re getting down to our final Open Streets events of the season, so come find us for some Art from the Heart, face painting and bomb glitter tattoos!

And since spooky season has officially entered the chat 👻, I’m thinking we need to add a few Halloween-inspired face painting and glitter tattoo designs this weekend.

What do y’all think? Drop a 💜 or 👻 in the comments if we should!
October is already OCTOBERING, and I have plenty more to share. The October ZNT Arts newsletter is coming soon!

Live and Let Art. 💜
Love yall!

Happy Sunday

Big Love 🫶🏾 to Sol Inspired🌬 Pull Up Poetry “More Than Just An Open Mic” for having by zntarts at yesterday’s 2nd Annual Oshun Festival 🐝🌻 I am so happy I got to be a part of this beautiful celebration yesterday. A perfect weather day and nothing but amazing energy.

It’s always a blessing to see the beauty Saafyr and of course Q of Emerald City brought in the good vibrations literally with an amazing sound bath. It totally brought in a moment of quiet and calm across the whole space.

I was truly happy to see the one and only Eroc Soul Bear on stage with his son Javi such an amazing legacy he is building. And it was darn cute that he introduced himself as “papi’s son”.

Here are a few moments from me. I love using GTX Facepaint especially their water resistant ones for summer festivals and active events. Look at the vibrancy and texture. Smooth!

Today is going to be a much needed for me. So if you need me you know where to find me. One of my favorite places is my bed lol!

Wishing all my folks the utmost joy, love 💕 and and abundance in all ways always.

ZNT
