A crocheter commissioned a crochet piece from me 🥰

That may not hit for everyone, but to me that means a whole lot!

The thing about us hookers is we can do it ourselves or we will figure out how. No shade because I love to teach and share, but I often get folks who will ask to take a picture intending to try and figure it out themselves. I am in full support of that because a lot of my creations are things I've seen in fabric that I recreate in crochet. But this sister basically said nope, I need your hands to make it, your energy infused with it. My little yarn wrapped heart grew about 3 more sizes that day 💗

Made for me... but slayed by us.

I couldn't begin to explain the mechanics of why the exact same piece fits different body types. That's just the power of a master crafter 💪🏿 and the versatility of crochet. Though, I often get the comment "that would never fit me" when women see my peekaboo halter top and my first question is why? ☝🏿

Don't limit yourself. If you've seen one of my designs and thought "I would wear that but..." let's have a conversation. As I always say, since everything is anything can be 😉

A very big thank you to Soulstice Beauty for inviting me to be one of their DIY presenters for the Soulstice Beauty Expo! Being able to share my love of creating with my hands is always a big win for me and the people absolutely loved it! 🥰 The project was simple, but they trusted the process and left with huge smiles, some even said they are gonna try to make it at home. That tells me the impact was definitely felt.

This is only one portion of the expo that I had the honor to feature in. There's still some and connections to share!

Another Crochet Club complete! We mastered flat circles, not an easy task at all, but everyone absolutely blew me away! There is a surprising amount of math in crochet and the flat circle equation is one of my favorites to teach! And they got it! 💪🏿 More proof that anyone can crochet (especially with me as your instructor 😁)

Next weekend begins the Golden Girls Series aka the Granny stitches!! 4 different techniques matching 4 different personalities for 4 weeks of themed fun!! Come "be a friend" and join me in class. The link to the series is in my bio. See you there!!

Custom creation complete and ready for shipping 😁 I call her "Sherbet Shorty" because I like a fun name for things 🤷🏿‍♀️

My client asked for a more modest version of my peekaboo halter top with a layered mini skirt. Since everything is handmade, anything can be custom made so I got busy on this recreation meshing a couple different techniques and the result is better than I imagined! Another freestyle creation relying only on measurements and my beautiful brain.
