One of my most popular pens, The Churchill. Originally called a "cigar pen" due to its shape, it was designed in Europe in the 1930's. Winston Churchill used it, and it appeared in one of his portraits taken at his desk. Within months it became one of the most popular pens worldwide.

Working on some new graphics for the website. Except for the product photo of the pen, the banner was created using ChatGPT.

When I'm not making pens, I'm a corporate photographer and a few years back I was 100% against the use of AI. A friend told me that there's no way to hold back new technology so I might as well get used to it. Now I combine AI with my photos, and it's become a practical alternative to stock photos and Photoshop. Live and learn.

I received an email in January from the U.S. State Department. The letter expressed an interest in my pens for use as a diplomatic gift by VP Vance. They wanted 20 of them. I sent them info and prices and waited patiently, hoping for an order.

Didn't hear a word for several months so thought perhaps it was just a practical joke from a friend.

Then finally after three months, I get an order for 20 pens. So, that was a pleasant surprise!
