While Rolex originally created the GMT-Master as a tool watch for pilots, the increase in international travel created a desire for a dressier version, so Rolex upgraded the stainless steel tool watch into an elegant companion in yellow gold with a Jubilee bracelet.

This example, dating to 1981, is in very good vintage condition. The movement was recently serviced and the original “nipple” dial is in good condition with some hand drag and discoloration around the center. The hands are newer service replacements and the original Jubilee bracelet does show some typical wear.

All in all, a very nice vintage Rolex GMT-Master that can be worn and enjoyed!
