I did a thing. šŸ«£ I bought a ridiculous amount of doll heads for an assemblage project Iā€™ve been daydreaming about. Some of you may not know how much I love things thatā€¦verge on bizarre. šŸ–¤šŸ˜¬šŸ‘» Even the unboxing of these lovelies brought me enough joy to justify the purchase! šŸ¤— Anyone want to come over for a sleepover?

Holiday inventory replenishment looks a little different around here. ā™»ļø

With some much-appreciated help from my daughter, Iā€™m stocking up for the holiday season. I estimate that this year alone, Iā€™ve purchased over 300 pounds of secondhand clothing to transform with my hand-carved block prints.

Thatā€™s 300+ pounds of clothing given another life instead of something new being manufactured.

Thank you for embracing this part of Turquoise Fernsā€”for wearing my art, supporting handmade, and helping keep perfectly good clothing in circulation. šŸ–¤

Iā€™m working on a ridiculously fun new project involving the upcycling of old Golden Books. So far this image is my favorite because that is my EXACT face when I drink coffee that isnā€™t Northbound Coffee Roasters ā˜•ļø ā¤ļø If you have any old Golden Books laying around, even if they are filled with scribbles and torn pagesā€¦please reach out! There is so much joy these guys can spread and thatā€™s my goal this Christmas!!!
