DIY Bead/ball holder? After realizing we forgot to order bead changers I remembered seeing some piercers using these tiny tubes and wanted to try it myself. Super affordable and they surprisingly grip the bead/ball end well. Obviously I would confirm tightness after but to just get the end on there I give this idea 5 ⭐️!!! Popped these in the autoclave and now we are good to go!

These fresh stacked lobe piercings are wearing the Sabine + Marlowe titanium ends from Khrysos Jewelry, and I love how much dimension a little extra placement can add to an ear. ✨

But the fun doesn’t have to stop with the piercings.

We played with the styling by adding a chunky chain and gemmed vine heart end, showing just how much you can change the look by mixing textures, shapes and movement.

That’s one of my favorite things about ear styling—you don’t necessarily need a ton of new piercings to create something that feels completely different. Sometimes it’s one thoughtfully placed stack, the right jewelry, and a little creativity. 💎⛓️

She came in wanting a navel piercing… but her anatomy had other plans. 🖤

Instead of forcing a piercing that wasn’t suited for her anatomy, we talked through her options—and somehow landed on something even cuter: hip dermals. ✨

We also talked about why I wouldn’t use surface bars in this placement and the additional risks they can carry here. After going over placement, healing, longevity, and expectations, she decided on single-point dermal anchors finished with these gorgeous 5mm opal tops.
And LOOK AT THEM. 😍

This is one of my favorite parts of piercing: sometimes the piercing you walk in wanting isn’t the piercing that’s right for your body. That doesn’t mean we’re out of options.

So may cool piercers out there that share their innovative ideas to make disposable tools to try and keep costs down. Got to give credit to Ryan Ouellette (and his amazing patreon videos) for all these tips and tricks and I think these turned out ok, I think I will try 20g needle blanks instead for the loop. I consider myself pretty crafty but I think i can refine these a bit more the more I make them. 😅 Still need to pierce with them but I feel confident they will do the trick. Do you guys make tools? Any helpful suggestions you wanna share?
