True craftsmanship doesn't start at the lumberyard. At Bau Füchs Wood Co., it starts right at the stump.
Timber from locally downed and trimmed trees plus salvaged neighborhood wood, chainsaw-milled in-house from raw log to rough plank. "Wood grain from chain to stain."
This raised planter with built-in shelf is 99% reclaimed cedar and fir fencing, crowned with a hand-milled Silver Maple cap and architectural joinery. Original rusted fence screws, encapsulated beneath flush-sanded epoxy. Our maker's mark cast in molten tin, poured by hand. Sealed in epoxy and multiple layers of spar urethane.
Front: carved Silver Maple plate with our name, logo, motto, and year. Back: engraved info plate listing materials and production marking -001 — the very first one ever built.
Custom orders open until spring. Local pick-up and delivery; shipping can be arranged.
