Just wanted to clear some things up from the latest raids ive seen from some ignorant people being interviewed and from the comment section. The first thing is the person that said places like the silver palm only damage the other businesses in whatever strip mall they are in. In the case of the palm I would like to think we helped rejuvenate it. When we came into the area there were only a few stores in the mall with a couple of national chain stores like coach and sas shoes. We were the only place in there through the pandemic that were up to date on our rent as the owners themselves told us. We worked together with the owners to rid the plaza of the degenerates that would congregate there and did the best we could to eliminate them as customers. Over the years we saw the plaza come back to life with more businesses and alot of the owners of those places would come into the palm because they wanted to see the type of business that basically saved that plaza. Those are not my words those were the words of these business owners that came in!
Lastly someone said the people that came in were sketchy. Some were and I won't deny that but we built a wide array of clientele. Cops, doctors, retirees, school teachers, lawyers, businessmen/women and the working class that everyday busted their ass in the hot burning sun. Not to mention every ethnic group you can name. Black, white,Latino, oriental. You all built this very small business into a warm and welcoming place for everyone to come and enjoy. We at the silver palm would like to say thank you. You could have went to any place in town you desired but you chose us!! Thank you!
