Gruene Market Days is New Braunfels’ ONLY all-Maker, all-Artisan weekend market featuring nearly 100 artisans offering handmade arts, clothing, decor, jewelry, personal-care products, and gourmet foods. Gruene Market Days is a unique artisan market held in Historic Gruene, Texas the 3rd weekend of each month Feb-Nov and the 1st weekend of Dec. We have woodworkers, jewelers, sculptures, fiber and m

any other forms of mixed media and pre-packages foods and spices. 🌻 Meet the Maker: Adriana of Nature Jewelry 🌻

One of the things we love most about our THIRD weekend tradition is meeting artists whose work has a story behind every piece.

Adriana has been creating jewelry since 2001, using natural materials sourced from her home country of Brazil - including golden grass, quartz, seeds, coconut shells, and abalone. The result? Elegant, one-of-a-kind necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings, hair accessories, and dream catchers that showcase the beauty of nature.

A self-described night owl fueled by Bossa Nova music and creativity, Adriana says her favorite part of the process is choosing her materials and discovering all the unique ways they can be transformed into something beautiful. Some of her favorite "happy accidents" have even become customer favorites that sold out immediately!

⚡ Meet the Maker: Steele Longstaff of The Family Ideas ⚡

At Gruene Market Days, you never know what kind of artistry you’ll discover, but lightning-burned wood tables definitely stop people in their tracks. 😮⚡

Steele creates one-of-a-kind fractal burned wood tables, bartops, river tables, headboards, and more using high-voltage electricity to create intricate lightning-like patterns in the wood. The process is mesmerizing, the craftsmanship is intense, and every piece is completely unique.

The fractal burning process is centuries-old but had died out - largely because of the mortality rate due to the hazard of electrocution! A few years ago, Steele watched some online videos and was fascinated so he built his own machines!

His signature “River” technique was the best kind of happy accident and he’s been told he may be the only person in the world doing it this way. 🤯 Catch him during the third weekend of June to ask him more about it.

Meet the Maker: Miguel and the team behind Samsara Creations ✨

What began as a few “very horrible” macramé bracelets (Miguel’s words 😄) has grown into a family-inspired art business creating handmade quartz figurines, jewelry, and intricate clay art that shoppers instantly connect with at Gruene Market Days.

Miguel and his team are constantly experimenting with new stones, metals, colors, and materials to create one-of-a-kind pieces - from quartz angels and elephants to sacred hearts and detailed clay artwork. But the heart of Samsara Creations goes back generations. 💫

Miguel’s family has a long tradition of crafting clay “Trees of Life,” and over time he began reimagining those classic elements - leaves, flowers, butterflies, and intricate patterns - into entirely new forms and designs. Creating those new molds and techniques took YEARS of trial and error, but the result is artwork that beautifully blends family heritage with modern creativity.

Some of their clay pieces take 3–6 months to complete because every detail is carefully handcrafted.

Warm cinnamon rolls, fresh-baked scones, and recipes passed down for generations 🤎🍞✨

Meet Brandy (THE Scone Lady) of Wildflour Scones & Bakery at this month’s Gruene Market Days - where handmade really means handmade. From Nana’s famous cinnamon rolls to from-scratch scones, seasonal breads, and bread pudding, every recipe is rooted in generations of family cooking and South Texas traditions.

Even sweeter? Many of the ingredients come straight from local farms, including eggs from the Ladies in Brandy’s own flock 🥚🌾 Her family rolling pins are still part of the process, and every batch is baked with the kind of love you can taste.

P.S. The blueberry scones will melt you! 🫠

Say hello to Tricia & Lee of ReDesigned - the creative duo turning broken vintage finds into whimsical handmade home décor with a whole new life. ♻️💛

What started with seashell art and Elmer’s glue at age five has grown into one-of-a-kind metal creations made with heart, imagination, and a whole lot of craftsmanship. From old vintage treasures gathered during their travels to custom pieces built to be cherished forever, every item has a story behind it.

Fun fact: Tricia says she learned she’s “more artistic than she gives herself credit for" and that her husband Lee can build anything she dreams up. 😄🔨
