Here is a repro circa 1907 Blue Book (a guide to brothels) from Storyville. Storyville was our city's one time legal red light district. I purchased my reproduction Blue Book fromNew Orleans Storyville Museum at 1010 Conti Street. Highly recommend visiting this museum ⚜️👍

Old Fort St. John was built right on Bayou St. John in New Orleans. 1st constructed in 1701. Remodeled by the Spanish in the late 1770s. Then, the Americans would fix it up again in the early 1800s. This land would be sold in 1823 and the Spanish Fort amusement area would be built (sadly, the amusement area is now gone). Links in comments to my Spanish Fort posts from the past ⚜❤
