Born in Chicago, IL, Zella would spend hours in her mother and grandmother's closet playing dress up with her great grandmother and grandmother's clothes, jewelry and hats from the 20s, 30s and 40s. In 2011, Zella began to design earrings and fascinators reminiscent of her great grandmother and namesake, Zella Ward's fashion sense. Zella is a luxury accesory brand for the elegant woman. Winter Collection is dedicated to the city of New Orleans; the city Zella is proud to call home. New Orleans retro fashion sense, Mardi Gras Indian culture, music and architecture can be seen in many of her designs.
