Our founders—Susan and Brian-created small sculptural forms in gold, each intricate, unexpected, and made with the sense of curiosity that has always defined Reinstein Ross.

Among them, the acorn appears again and again. A longtime Reinstein Ross motif, it has been part of our collection since the beginning—reimagined across different pieces, but always unmistakably ours. Alongside it were the rounded, detailed forms that would eventually become the starting point for our orb.

Looking back at these pieces reminds us just how present our founders still are in the work we create today. Their fascination with form, movement, texture, and the unexpected continues to find its way into our collections—not by recreating the past, but by building upon it.

The orb is one of those continuations: inspired by forms found in our archives, reinterpreted and made for today.
