I’m still digesting everything I experienced at Week Miami last week.
50+ new friends to follow up with. A full heart. And an even deeper belief in the industry I’ve found myself more and more rooted in over the past three years.
The global wellness economy just hit $6.8 trillion, on its way to $9.8 trillion by 2029. Being in a room full of people actively shaping what that means felt like a privilege.
So many highlights, but a few that stayed with me:
Alexandra Wilkis Wilson, Nicholas Zaldastani, Ian Friedman, and Shelly Kapoor Collins on how investors evaluate opportunity, process, and fit, exactly what I needed to hear as I find myself in pre-seed mode.
The longevity panels were next level. I found myself scribbling notes and texting loved ones in real time. Kathleen O’Neil, MD’s insights on the democratization of health and the future of medicine were particularly resonant. Dr. Lisa Miller gave another standout talk on conscious leadership and the potential of a more awakened brain — the kind of perspective that lingers.
I was honored to join a panel alongside .kenny, and on the impact of optimistic leadership. A conversation I could have stayed in for hours.
And to close out the week hosted a private gathering of family offices, investors, founders, and leaders across longevity, wellness, CPG, spiritual capital, and fitness. Intimate, electric, and the perfect final note to an extraordinary week. Deeply grateful to have been in that room, and in all the rooms this week.
What this entire team built was something special. The content was rich. The connections were intentional. And in all the years I’ve spoken at events, I have never once received a handwritten thank-you note. That single detail said everything.
Cannot wait for next year.
