This custom jewel began with a sunset.

A dear friend sent me photographs of the skies over her home in Burgundy (swipe to see), and together we translated those colors into a very personal sapphire Ankh.

I painted with gems, deep blue, violet, pink, red, orange and yellow, then added a tiny diamond at the top as a reminder of her light and spirituality.

This WTC picture was taken by my much younger self, about 30 years ago, when I moved to NYC from France and lived downtown. I could see the Twin Towers from my window. If I close my eyes, I can still see them.

And you, Gerard, forever live in my heart.

Life changes in the blink of an eye, take the time to hug your loved ones, today and everyday.

And be kind to one another, our world sure needs it right now. 💔

Three tiny talismans, layered close. I carved the Petite Lion for courage and protection, the Petite Sirène for intuition and flow, and the Petite Shell as a symbol of protection, boundaries and sanctuary.

I first saw his larger ancestor in a dream, then carved him by hand in wax in one sitting. Years later, I made him tiny enough to carry with you every day.
