About Alex Story Jewelry

Alex Story is an innovative jewelry and metalsmith who work has been featured in numerous national fashion magazines and blogs. She specializes in making bold, organic shapes by carving wax by hand. Using the ancient art of lost-wax casting, she creates exquisite jewelry in silver and gold. Her most recent work is inspired by both organic forms and traditional weaponry, which she has playfully reinvented as talismans against the assault of daily urban living. Many of these pieces combine the graceful with the grotesque and provide a glimpse into Alex's unique sense of humor. Alex creates her jewelry in her workshop in Manhattan's East Village.
