• Design aesthetic: Sassy semi-precious sculptures with unique stones and a sense of humor.
• Inspired by: The stones themselves. Colors, shapes, imperfections. The pieces create themselves and have a mind of their own.
• What's special?:
Betsy takes a very personal approach to each client and mails handwritten thank you notes to follow up and make sure everyone is overjoyed with the jewelry. She wants everyone who owns a Zubie to know and feel they are part of fulfilling a dream and supporting an artist. To Betsy, it is about far more than just an earring or a pin. She believes jewelry is about making one feel beautiful. If you feel good about yourself you have a light about you and treat people better.
• Celebrity fans: Katie Holmes wore a one-of-a-kind pair of Zubie Earrings to announce her romance with Tom Cruise to the world. Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, Naomi Watts, Heidi Klum and Sienna Miller are just a few of Betsy's famous fans.
• What's next?: Some new pieces will be seen on the new show "6 degrees" which will be following Grey's Anatomy on ABC. Betsy is excited about working with a stylist to design pieces for specific TV characters.
