For more than a decade, Dana Walden Chin has designed engagement rings for people who embrace art and visual culture, but who also find importance in knowing their ring’s designer. At Dana Walden Bridal, we pride ourselves on designing pieces that go beyond adornment; our engagement rings are elevated to art, through the merging of client and artisan. All of our jewelry is handcrafted using recycled metals and conflict-free diamonds, resulting in the perfect marriage of beauty, quality, and ethics. We never sell cheaply made, mass produced jewelry; rather, we strive to create symbolic heirlooms that will endure generations. Dana and Rad’s work has received accolades from Harper's Bazaar, Vogue, Lucky, and New York Magazine's Wedding Guide. A ch*****ne diamond isn’t simply a ch*****ne diamond.

I have a problem with this ring.

Every time it comes out, I put it on.

15+ carats of cushion-cut bliss—and somehow, despite the large scale, it is extraordinarily beautiful & elegant.

A great cushion should have dimension and softness, but it should still light up. It should feel alive.

We work with extraordinary natural diamonds. We work with extraordinary lab-grown diamonds. And after years of sourcing, collecting and designing around important stones, we know what we want a diamond to look like before it ever makes its way into a Dana Walden piece.

We actually created a natural cushion in the 10-carat range last year with a remarkably similar presence.

This one just happens to be 15+ carats.

And yes, it’s currently in the atelier.

So if you’re coming in for an appointment and want to spend thirty seconds being completely unreasonable, please ask to try it on.

This custom piece has always felt like the best of both worlds to me: the brilliance and permanence of a diamond, paired with the depth and color of an emerald.

Here, an emerald-cut diamond sits beside an emerald-cut emerald — same clean geometry, completely different energy. One bright and luminous, the other rich and saturated. Together, they feel bold without being loud, luxurious without feeling overly precious.

What I love most is how wearable it is. It’s a statement ring, but it still has that ease that lets you actually live in it. Chic, graphic, a little unexpected — and one of my favorite pieces we make.

A couple of pretty pendants, one of which was designed by our littlest team member, 7yo Miles Chin.

The organic gold pendant w twists and turns was created using a a vine he found in Prospect Park a few months ago. He twisted it into a ring shape and asked us to fabricate a replica pendant and ring in yellow gold. He showed Dana where to add tiny diamond details.
