Monica Sordo Jewelry Monica Sordo’s self-titled jewelry line was launched in October 2011. Her pieces express a great balance of nature and metropolitan living.

Monica Sordo was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. She attended fashion school in Milan getting a Diploma in Fashion Styling and a Master Degree in Fashion Merchandising. At age 23 she moved to Madrid where she began her five-year role as Fashion Editor for Marie Claire Spain and El Pais fashion publications among others. She also was a teacher at the Instituto Europeo di Design where she was

in charge of the workshops for the Fashion Styling Masters. Monica Sordo’s self-titled jewelry line was launched in July 2011. Nature and its rawness is represented by materials such as stalagmite Aquamarines, Citrine, silver and gold, and raw wood. The contemporary rhythm of the city is captured by the collection’s design and industrial details. Together, each piece clearly reflects her strong South American background and at the same time her trajectory around some of the most exciting capitals of the world. All the pieces are carefully handmade by the designer and a small team of Jewelers base in Caracas giving each piece a unique individuality, beauty and power
