Danese Smalls Brooklyn native has always had a passion for the arts. From designing her daughters baby clothes in the 80's to sculpting "Yo Pins" in the 90's this artistic Goddess has definitely made indelible statements. She has over 25 years experience as a costume designer and wardrobe supervisor for some of Broadway's riveting plays. Off-broadway has earned an opportunity with Danese such as J
azz Ala Carte at the Apollo theater, The Metropolitan Opera, and The American Ballet Theater. She's toured around the world as Wardrobe Supervisor in Russell Simmons Def Poetry Jam as well as toured with Tyler Perry's play in "Why Did I Get Married." Over the past 30 years, God has anointed Danese to paint, design, and sculpt jewelry for some of this industries leading entertainers such as: Mary Alice, Lawrence Fishburn, Jessie Norman, Milos & Martina Forman to name a few. For the past 8 years, Danese's main focus has been creating jewelry that illuminates the wearer's inner beauty. Each piece is handcrafted to perfection comprised of vintage beads and glass and are one of a kind. Many have expressed a feeling of healing and happiness when wearing an exclusive piece by Danese. September 2012 Danese Designs' jewelry walked down the runway during fashion week in New York.
