I have a returning client for whom I previously made a special ring, and he appreciated the care I put into his final piece. So when he recently inherited a coin collection from his mother, he trusted me to handle the sale for him. I did a lot of research with silver, gold, and coin dealers to find the best price for his collection.

When I appraise estates, I come across a huge amount of jewelry. Sometimes I see a piece that appeals to me personally.

This is exactly what happened when I saw this turquoise and gold ring. It fit my finger perfectly and I held onto it for about a year. Every time I went to a jewelry show, I took the ring with me hoping I would find a matching pair of earrings, but I never found anything that I liked and matched well enough.
