It is important to make sure our industry’s voice is heard by lawmakers in Washington, D.C.
A few weeks ago, I joined fellow Jewelers of America board members and industry colleagues on Capitol Hill to meet with members of Congress and discuss key issues facing the jewelry industry.
Our conversations covered everything from tariffs on diamonds, gemstones, metals, and jewelry to legislation aimed at combating organized retail crime and protecting businesses across our industry.
I’m proud to be part of Jewelers of America and the work it continues to do advocating on behalf of our industry—helping advance trade policies and legislation that support a strong, competitive, and sustainable jewelry industry for years to come.

An unforgettable evening at Rockefeller Plaza. 🇧🇼✨

Botswana celebrated 60 years of Independence in the heart of New York City, bringing together dignitaries, special guests, culture, and celebration for an incredible milestone.

We were honored to be part of the occasion—and even more excited to share a little behind-the-scenes look at the evening, including the custom jewelry created for this special celebration.

I had the incredible honor of designing this pin for Botswana’s President, Duma Gideon Boko.

Created to celebrate 60 years of independence, the design was inspired by the iconic elephant sculpture at Botswana’s airport—a symbol of the country’s commitment to wildlife conservation.

From CAD to casting and setting each diamond, watching the design come to life was incredibly special.

And seeing President Boko wear the finished piece at the United Nations was a moment I’ll never forget.
