Sculptor Naomi Sarna, travels the world searching for the most interesting gemstones to carve. While visiting the island nation, Madagascar, Sarna acquired a very rare unheated Blue Topaz, which she carved into a 47-carat centerpiece for the Madagascar Moon Ring. Inspired by the undulating movement of the ocean around Madagascar, Sarna replicated that sense of flowing water when she sculpted the Blue Topaz, surrounding it with White Diamonds sparkling crisply against the Palladium setting, which is a metal in the Platinum family. Naomi Sarna was the recipient of The Palladium Honors award for the Madagascar Moon Ring from the prestigious American Gem Trade Association Spectrum Awards design competition.
