We offer jewelry and art pieces based on unique 3D-printed components. Most designs are derived from mathematical functions or geometry and are inspired by patterns in nature. The pieces showcased here and

on our website are only examples. Most can be customized in a variety of ways and we’re happy to do so — just ask!! We are also working to create tools that allow anyone to make their own one-of-a-kind jewelry. 3D printing offers this promise of "mass customization", but software tools are still needed to allow anyone to create designs without years of training or expensive programs. Our first offering in this area is the Celtic Knot Creator, an app that allows you to make flat Celtic knot styled designs for earrings, pendants, or whatever else you can imagine. Hypatia, a Greek philosopher from 1600 years ago, never married or bore children. Instead, she taught philosophy and astronomy to students who traveled from across the globe to learn from her. Although she was exceptional, Hypatia’s role in society actually wasn't uncommon for her time. At Hypatia Studio we believe Hypatia would support the joy of learning and using math, history, and nature to craft beauty!
