So excited to share yet another bombshell Michelle Mai collab, finished just in time for a mountain top proposal!

I only WISH my camera could truly capture the colors in this sapphire center, this is one of the most dynamic and gorgeous sapphires I’ve seen and it ranged everywhere from soft pastel blue to bright vibrant violet. My wonderful client and I worked together to create this stunning yellow gold setting with a customized engraving on the shank and an incredibly flowy basket for the center stone. Accented with lab diamonds and finished off with hand milgraining, this ring was utterly STUNNING from every single angle ya’ll!

You ever see a stone that just *speaks* to you. Like whispers witchy spells into your eyeballs and you just can’t ignore it or look away. This was that sapphire for me 😅 I was warned before I bought it that she was really dark and moody but had just a liiiiittle bright parti-zone of yellow. I was powerless to resist. (Actually that happens a lot with gems, I can’t stop myself even when I know I shouldn’t.)

And she’s definitely moody! Almost inky blue-black indoors at times, but point her towards the sunshine and KABLOWWWWW.
I’m in love 🥹

Currently undecided if she’s going in the shop or destined to live rent free on my own hand.

Are ya’ll ready for the most fun story ever?? Several years ago Mark and Nicky were celebrating New Years with an oyster dinner. Mark (luckily!) found this pearl inside one of the oysters before he swallowed it and held onto it until now, when we decided to set it into a ring for their 10 year anniversary!

I utterly adore this ring, not only for the incredibly fun backstory, but also it is such a wonderful everyday piece and I could easily see myself adding this to my own personal stack. We finished it off with a sweet secret engraving inside, and he presented the ring at their anniversary dinner.

Pieces like this just feed my soul, the story of this pearl from its original home to its new home is such a special one and I am so happy I was able to help bring this one to life!

Little appreciation post for one of my favorite local small businesses, 𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘆’𝘀 𝗡𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗕𝗮𝗿 👏

For the first time in my life I’ve started consistently having my nails done professionally and wow has it ever been life changing. Not only am I so happy to be supporting another woman owned business, doing this consistently has truly worked wonders for my mental health! My nails are healthy, strong, and quite literally always look beautiful. Spending time each month in their studio is a pleasure, everyone there is kind, warm, and welcoming and they truly love their craft.

This month I went with the most fun sparkly copper color to properly celebrate Fall coming in, and I think it pairs perfectly with the dawn rose gold ring since she has her own special perfect little copper inclusion 🍁
