The IWC Pilot Mark series has been a benchmark timepiece for versatility, build quality, and timeless design. The IWC IW328304 Mark XX keeps everything that’s great about the earlier Mark series timepieces, and adds versatility, performance, and practicality.

First, is the addition of the Calibre 3211, which takes the power reserve up to an impressive 120 hours while keeping that high 28800 beat rate and the smooth sweep that comes with it. One of the weak points of this series has always been the water resistance. Not really an issue if you’re a pilot, but the Mark XX steps that up to 100m.

The star of this show, however is the stunning green sunburst dial. Depending on the light, this dial goes from near black to a Kelly green. Paired with one of the best bracelets in the game, this piece is an absolute stunner.

Sometimes we’ll eyeball a beautiful, unique watch and think “but could I actually wear that? The Bulgari Octo Roma, ref. 103738 doesn’t have that problem. This watch can wear elegant in its integrated bracelet (which still looks great in casual-wear), or it can do sporty in its OEM quick-change rubber strap, texturing to play off of the dial.

Dress it up or dress it down, the Octo Roma is sporty without being a tool watch and elegant without falling into dress-watch territory. A great choice for someone looking for something a little different than the usual luxury sports watch lineup.

Hot take: my favorite Panerai (Paneris? Panerae? Not sure on this one) are the simple ones. The PAM00776 keeps it clean: traditional 44mm case, time, small seconds. Done

I used to think Panerai was “too much” but it just works with anything that isn’t a suit. But with the polished case and included unworn alligator leather OEM strap… maybe you can pull it off! This thing IS a strap-monster.

It’s a spec-monster too. Automatic in-house movement with 3 days power reserve, 100m water resist, and lume that’ll knock your socks off.

Masculine. Elegant. Just right

The Cartier Calibre de Cartier, ref. W7100015. There’s very few watches that manage to have elegance to wear to any formal occasion, and still have enough masculine presence for a casual date night. The guy wearing this watch has the top two buttons on his shirt perpetually unbuttoned. He has *great* hair. The man wearing this watch smells great, and his date is going to end well. Very well.
The Calibre has more wrist presence, a proper automatic movement, and just enough sport-watch attitude without pretending it wants to go diving. Which is good, because it doesn’t.

This example is in good condition as shown, and comes with the original warranty papers.
