Inspired by the aerodynamics of a race car. 🏁

The Laurent Ferrier Sport Auto 79, ref. LCF040, honors one of the brand’s proudest moments: Laurent Ferrier’s third-place finish at the 1979 24 Hours of Le Mans. Ferrier later spent 37 years at Patek Philippe before founding his own brand.

The 41.5mm case is in 18k 5N rose gold, with rounded curves and flowing lines drawn from racing car aerodynamics. It’s matched with an integrated three-link rose gold bracelet. The cream opaline dial has a rose-silver hue, a snailed small seconds at 6 o’clock and a date at 3.

Inside is the in-house Calibre LF270.01, an automatic micro-rotor movement with a 72-hour power reserve. The platinum rotor is laser-engraved with nods to the 1979 race. It’s water resistant to 120 meters.

Meet the Rolex Perpetual Padellone, inspired by the 1949 ref. 8171 and named after the nickname collectors gave it: “large frying pan.”

It’s an instantaneous annual calendar with a meteorite moon phase, in 39mm Everose gold or platinum. You only need to adjust it once a year.

The Rolex Day-Date 40, ref. 228239, comes in 18k white gold with a meteorite dial and baguette diamond hour markers.

The dial is cut from real meteorite, which shows a natural crystalline pattern formed over millions of years as the iron cooled in space. Since no two pieces of meteorite are alike, every dial is unique. Baguette-cut diamonds mark the hours.

The 40mm case and President bracelet are both in 18k white gold, finished with a fluted bezel. The day is spelled out in full at 12 o’clock, and the date sits at 3. Inside is the Calibre 3255, with about 70 hours of power reserve and Rolex’s Superlative Chronometer certification.

The Vacheron Constantin Historiques 222 is a modern re-edition of the original 222, first released in 1977 to mark the brand’s 222nd anniversary. The original was designed by Jörg Hysek.

The watch has a 37mm case in 18k yellow gold, a notched bezel and an integrated gold bracelet. A small Maltese cross, Vacheron’s emblem, sits on the case at 5 o’clock. It’s powered by a slim automatic movement with a gold rotor.

The 222 was one of the first luxury sports watches of the 1970s, alongside the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak and the Patek Philippe Nautilus. It’s also the predecessor of Vacheron’s Overseas collection.
