At some point someone out there put me on the mailing list for every solicitation for every political candidate in every election and every catalog that was/is ever in print. As I dumped the 57 lbs of junk mail into the recycling bin I was ridden with guilt thinking of the poor trees that gave their lives for Jimmy Bob who was running for Commissioner of traffic light placement and Bass Pro Worlds
230 page catalog- I cringed at the rattle of all the water bottles that landed in the bins along side of the junk mail. We live in such a rich, abundant world -- unfortunately also abundant is the waste we create. I'm not sure how it happened but I know Pinterest is somehow to blame! :) It is the most addictive, creative, fascinating, time sucking site I have ever been on! …. at some point along the way water bottles started becoming beautiful pendants and earrings, junk mail -vividly colored beads and the seashells I collected for over 20 years, suddenly had a purpose! I started seeing new uses for "old stuff" and "Creatively Recreated" was born. I will be continually adding new inventory so press the "Like" button if you're inclined and you will get updates as they happen. If you see anything you're interested in just message me and I will get back to you as soon as possible. I may not single-handedly rid the world of all it's trash but maybe I can make a tiny dent in my little corner of the world-- you know-- the story of the boy and the starfish......Google it-- :)
