Hey everyone, I figured it was about time I properly introduce myself on here!
My name's Ari (rhymes with fairy hehe) and I'm the creator behind Chained to Earth Designs. I'm from Western Kentucky and I began making chainmail back in 2022.

It started off as a way to stave off the boredom I was feeling with my covid hobby of jewelry making. I wasn't finding joy with beadwork or resin anymore but I still knew I wanted to create. I was also getting really into renfaires at the time so I got some very cheap jump rings and dove head first into the ancient art of chainmail!

The inspiration behind Chained to Earth Designs comes from a plethora of different interests of mine, most notably my love for getting lost in dark and mystical fantasy worlds like The Dark Crystal and Pan's Labryinth.

I've been creating things since I was a child. From crocheting with my grandma to sewing cosplays from scratch; I always needed to be working on something.

In my spare time I enjoy going to see live music, watching movies with my boyfriend, playing games with my friends, and spending time with my sweet angel kitty Butters.

Putting yourself out there and being perceived is a bit terrifying but I've already made so many lovely connections since I started this journey 4 years ago! If you actually read all of this wow thank you I love you 🖤
