Why Juneteenth Matters ❤️🖤💚

Juneteenth marks June 19, 1865, the day the last enslaved people in the United States learned they were free. It is a celebration of freedom, resilience, and the continued pursuit of equality.

As part of our Juneteenth promotion, we donated a portion of sales from every purchase yesterday and today to Rosenwald Revamped helping preserve an important piece of local Black history through the restoration of the historic Rosenwald School in Galax, VA.

🚨 Pop-Up Postponed 🚨

Trust me when I say nobody is more disappointed about this than I am.

I was looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow at Cozy Cabin Co. , but after a catastrophic relationship breakdown between my face and a new foundation, I'm currently covered in giant hydrocolloid bandages and sporting what appears to be a bonus round of pink eye.

While I normally believe in powering through, I feel pretty strongly that showing up looking like I lost a fight with a lawnmower and possibly sharing germs is not the customer experience we're aiming for at 37 Latitude. 😅

I'm going to take a few days to heal, rejoin society, and stop scaring small children (and grown men apparently). I'll post a new date as soon as possible.

Thank you all for understanding and supporting my small business...even when it's being held together by hydrocolloid bandages and pure determination. ❤️
