Every year I get to do something really cool and stressful. For 6 years now I’ve had the amazing experience of building something with friends and colleagues to bring something special to Philadelphia, right in front of city hall.
It’s this small, temporary shop, bringing a little dose of handmade, hand spun, hand drawn magic to a sea of consumerism that surrounds this time of year. And yes we are there to make money. But more than that, I see it as a vessel to send ✨sparkles✨ out into the world. Gifts bring immeasurable joy to others when you give to recognize how you see another person. And that is what I am in the business of. That small act of recognition of love and care.
To my buds that trust me enough to do this with me every time, I can’t explain how validating it’s been to work in collaboration each year to make this the best it can be with all it’s moving parts. Thanks for seeing me!
