I love Amber. And I buy my Amber from a wonderful friend Jesus Coello Velasco who lives in Chiapas Mexico. But today I had the preveledge of meeting him, his son and sister today in person. They are here in the states selling beautiful Amber and so many other great crystals. I had to Splurge and buy a beautiful flat of Amber all with inclusions of insects. Look for a new collection of Amber jewelry in the future.

🌊 This is Surfite. This material is magical……. It came from a famous surf shop in LaJolla California and it’s from the 60’s when The Beach Boys were starting out in that area.

🌊 Surfite is a lapidary material made from the layers of resin that accumulate during the surfboard glassing process. As resin is applied to the board, excess drips onto a tray below and over time forms layers of clear and colored resin. This material is also known as surf stone.

🌊This cabachon has been cut by World Renowned Lapidary Artist Greg Genovese of Gemsbygenovese. And it is prettier in person.
