Jewelry By Jamaica I design wood and gemstone jewelry with an emphasis on bracelets. The importance of having jewelry that is the right fit is my main focus.

I also design and collaborate with Musicians and Clothing Brands to create wholesale jewelry for their brands. I have been making jewelry since 2009. When I first started making jewelry it was for a mission's trip for girls in Africa. Now I've continued in my craft to become a full fledged business owner. I truly love making jewelry and I'm excited to see how far it takes me. I love to design and create, and it's an amazing feeling to have a vision for something and then see it come to life.

A pair of pliers in each hand and suddenly I’m a crab. Apparently that’s part of my jewelry-making process. 😂

Today’s bracelet tutorial: attaching a charm with a jump ring. A little detail that gives you another way to personalize your jewelry.

Save this to try, and tell me—what charm would you add?

Days like today are rare, which is exactly why I had to document it. This is the most I’ve adulted in a long time.

I feel proud, mentally drained, and ready for tomorrow. Will tomorrow look anything like today? Who knows?

All I know is that today was amazing, and I deserve a gold star. ⭐

A little piece of my brand’s history, back on a bracelet.

Some details stick with people long after they buy a piece. The J2 tag was one of those details—and getting to pair it with a laser-engraved initial makes this custom bracelet even more personal.

Who still has jewelry with their original tag? I’d love to know what you have.

I spend a lot of time collecting ideas. Saving the recipe. Pinning the project. Saying, “I want to try that.”

Yesterday, I got to spend time with a friend and actually make something I’d been wanting to try. And I was so proud of myself.

It felt good to step outside my usual routine and let myself be a beginner. To finally do something I’d spent so much time thinking about.

Who knew a little jar could mean that much? 🥹

“Can I go with you?”

He asks whenever I’m heading somewhere, and I love being able to say yes. Today it was just a package drop-off, but he got to carry the box, hold my hand, and be part of what Mommy does.

I love creating jewelry. I love being his mom. And I’m grateful for the freedom to let those parts of my life overlap—even on a little trip to UPS. 🤎

Sometimes “I’m here for you” looks like something you can wear. 🤍

Making one of the bracelets in a custom family set, with a little more on my mind than bead sizes and colors. Thinking about who will wear it. What it represents, and the person who thought to give them something this meaningful.

Grateful to be trusted with this order.

Same color palette. Different details.

Red jade, black lava stone, and hematite—each bringing something different to these men’s bracelets.

Which catches your eye first: the red beads or the hematite arrows?

Coffee in hand, and I still had to get a little footage before leaving. This Kansas City coffee shop’s wall decor deserved its own moment.

What gets you through the door—the coffee, the atmosphere, or both?

Sometimes you remember more than the work someone did. You remember how you felt when you saw it.

I knew how to make the jewelry. Photographing it for a website was a whole different learning curve. Having someone take my vision seriously and help me bring it to life meant so much.

Still grateful for this moment, and for the photographer behind it. 🤍

Who’s someone who helped you early in your business that you haven’t forgotten?

Running a small jewelry business somewhere between “Mommy, look!” and figuring out what’s for dinner. 😂

And somehow, professional overthinker is the only position I’m overqualified for.

What job title would you add to the list?
