Shortly after my announcement to end B&B, I was contacted by a fellow planner who has graciously offered to step in and see this contest continue. Can you believe it? I told you I was surrounded by some incredible people!

Scarlet Rose Events (aka katy padilla) will now be in charge and she's pushing hard to get a wedding in 2025! So sharpen your pencils people!

For now same rules apply, but other changes are coming! Some are big (very needed) changes, others are small...but I can tell you that Katy and team will blow you outta the water.

We are on the lookout for a venue and date and those will be announced as soon as we are confirmed.

Im so excited that all of you quiet heroes are still going to be recognized for everything you do for us! Yay!!!

We're open for suggestions for venue possibilities...let me hear your suggestions!

Katy, a personal note from me, im so happy you stepped up! I won't be involved much longer, but as a tribute to my past work, I think a bobble head of my likeness should be a mandatory at each reception so people don't forget me! Just a thought!

Hello first responders & friends!

About this time each year, for the past 13 or so years, I've started pumping people up to get love letters started in anticipation of the start of the contest on January 1.

This year, however, im sad to say, that 2024 was the last year for the contest. Not because I've lost my love for FRs, but because of personal issues.

Ill be putting up some additional information regarding all our great sponsors from over the years. They made your weddings unforgettable, beautiful and fun!

I'm so going to miss doing this crazy contest, and if things change, I'll keep you posted!
