Wanna highlight two of my FAVORITE tools at my workbench while I'm working away at this month's long necklace project.
First is my Tuna Ball Vise. You can order them directly from atoztoolsonline.com {not on insta to my knowledge} (you might need to email for availability) or you can pick one up from .
This microball vise is a beast. I adore it. It comes with some of the nicest metal pins of the block sets currently on the market, the jaws hold great, it comes with an inside ring holder and 18 collets... plus it fits almost every GRS attachment. If you loose a stone inside, it's easy to take apart and put back together. AND you wont break the bank on it.
I've used a GRS, a Jura, and several knock-offs of this microball and this is the one I bought my apprentice as her graduation gift because it's the one I want at my bench.
Second up is my bur organizer from designs. The number of years I spent trying to keep my burs organized only to get deep into a flow and then end up with a pile of "shame burs" that no matter how well I measured never seemed to go back quite in the right order, those days are behind me.
I have one of these twisty containers for pretty much all my shapes of burs and even if I'm switching between multiple sizes and shapes on a single project it is so easy to just pop the bur into the open slot, and click to the next size I need. Since I've started using these I haven't created any shame burs, and I know that the setting bur I'm reaching for is what it says on the tin.
You can get these through Nashef's online shop or at (and possibly some other spots). But I definitely recommend them for a nice organized bench. {Did I mention they stack?}
Ok, wrist break is over. I hope y'all found this useful. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. I love talking tools almost as much as I love talking jewelry.
