Hi! 👋🏼 Thank you all for showing up so big today at ! Pop up events for me are now pretty few and far between, but it was so fun doing this event for the Mother’s Day market!! I’m wishing all moms out there a wonderful Mother’s Day tomorrow. 💛

Many of my favorite pieces found new homes today and it was fun chatting with so many of you! 🫶🏻 Thanks for always supporting me! Here are a few of the common questions I got today:

Q:Where else can we shop your stuff?
A: my website! Open 24/7 and I make items to order and ship out. If you are in Redmond you can also use code “Localpickup” at checkout to arrange for pick up downtown at Forever Sunshine Boutique. Local boutiques and salons also carry a variety of my work. Willow Wild, Forever Sunshine and WilderLuxe Salon are the places in Redmond that carry my work all the time!

Q: Do you do these (pop ups) every Saturday? A: No- today was a special event and I currently don’t have anything else on the books. I may be back to Wild Ride for a holiday event and it’s possible I may do one or two in between around Central Oregon but that’s likely it! I always notify my local email list of local pop up events if I do decide to add any on.
And I plan to do more website updates/ small drops with one-of-a-kind pieces through the year though!

Q: Do you do this full time? A: Yes! I’ve been able to make a career of my craft and I’m forever thankful to be able to tinker and play with gemstones, a hammer and torch lol! 🔥 Derive is going on 6 years and I spend as much time as I can in my studio while balancing my family life being a wife and mom of two- age 3, and 6 months! ☺️

What’s on the bench today…

I’ve been kinda absent lately but still here behind the scenes! 😘 Adjusting to life as mom of two and running a business has its days where it just doesn’t seem possible to create content. 🙃 But alas, I spent a few minutes of my work time today having fun playing with sea shells in preparation for a Kauai vacay 🏝️☀️💛 more to come…

What a year and gift 2025 was 💝 I thought it would be fun to share a little recap of our year, both personally and professionally!

✨We started off 2025 with a family vacay to Cabo, including a brand photo shoot while on location - because, why not?!

✨We launched new items including new Valentine’s themed pieces in the Ever After collection, and processed so many orders!

✨Lots of outdoor adventuring with Crew and trying to find a good balance of motherhood and owning a business.

✨Took on various custom orders which always sparks creativity.

✨The beginnings of the Wayfinder collection and a new chapter for our pieces!

✨Finding out we’re pregnant with our rainbow baby- so happy!! 🥹

✨Made several really neat pieces and gave them away to good causes!

✨Friends trip to Arizona- the vibes were good in Sedona and the turquoise treasures I came home with were amazing. Crew was so unbothered in first class 😅 and the whole trip made for some great memories with our best friends, and of course new inspo for designs!

✨I said NO more than ever to make space for family, adventuring and other opportunities within the business- I gave up doing most pop up events. This was one of my final pop ups!

✨Hired my first assistant! Thank goodness for Rachel and Jade :)

✨Decided to sell our house and remodel our other house! Packed up the studio and moved out!

✨New studio and home remodel!

✨Soaking in the summer as a family of 3 for the last time!

✨Welcoming baby sister Indie and settling in for the winter!

✨Takeaways: Progress over perfection- and knowing I cannot do it alone. The to do list as a small business owner/designer/maker is never ending.
By letting go of certain things, I was able to create a one of a kind collection of work that I had been dreaming of doing since I started this business. We were also able to welcome 61 (!) new retailer accounts this year bringing the total independent retailer locations to over 250 who carry my work! Not without the help of my amazing production assistant Jade!

2026 is looking amazing and off to an incredible start. Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart for your loyal support of my business! 🫶🏻💛✨

👋🏼Story Sale! Just in time for Christmas arrival- check our stories starting at 1pm pacific - tomorrow, Saturday Dec 13th for special deals on market left overs and studio sample items! All story sale items will ship out Monday.

✨We are closing up the studio tomorrow for vacation/ holidays so any order that comes in after tomorrow will arrive after Christmas.✨ Exception to this is our gift cards, as they are electronic and can be gifted directly to the recipient via email. 🫶🏻
