Wow! As I begin this entry I am amazed that it has been a whole year since I have been able to work with “my girls”! Family obligations have pulled me in other directions. As a peek of things to come, I am completing a Regency Era gown designed by Elizabeth Gearhart of Pemberly Threads. “Elinor” is my first ensemble featuring a new concept from Innovations in Dollwear for the concise and beautiful buttonholes that I hope to incorporate into all future doll-wear from Miss Priss.

Great to be back after seasonal absence. Wanted you all to see the transformation of "to***co patch Annie". She has been cleaned inside and out and all her limbs have been tightened. She has a new wig from Beautifully Custom and a complete face-up. Soon to be released as a Modern American Girl "Keisha". Just have a few tweaks and making an outfit.

Cecile and her friend, Marie Grace, have always dreamed of taking a trip to Paris in the Springtime... Site-seeing, eating Petit fours and BonBons at an open air sidewalk café, strolling on the Champs-Elysees. How romantic! Their Mamas would not like that word "Romantic" but the girls were quickly reaching the age to put their hair up and their skirts down. The friends were giggly at the thought. Romantic thoughts aside, Cecile was happy to wear the new dress her Mama had made for her especially for the trip. She so wanted to see the Eifel Tower.. She could hardly wait!
