Business to the side for a moment, how was your Saturday?

My weekends are designated for family, unwinding, trying new things, and spending time with nature. I've grown to appreciate most of those green things (I say most because who likes poison ivy?)

Once I realized my life is what I make it, I decided to make the necessary changes to have a great one🌸

Topic- Earring backings:

Did you know that there are different styles of earring backings and they all have their own purpose and benefits?

A few of those styles include- screw backs, clutch backs, clip-on backs, butterfly backs, and silicone backings.

The most common and the ones you probably see the most are the butterfly and silicone backings.

You might even come across the butterfly & silicone paired together to keep the earring in place.

Silicone backings are highly recommended for sensitive skin since they don't contain any metal particles.

There are also earring backings that assist with keeping your earrings in place after they've been stretched due to heavy earrings.

Awhile ago I did a career presentation for my daughter's grade level at school. I honestly didn't know what to expect or if what I was doing was going to impress a bunch of 5th graders.

Fast forward maybe, a month later. We go to the school for a history program and some of the students were presenters. A young lady did her presentation and after this was the conversation:

Her: I remember you, You're the lady that makes jewelry!!

Me: *giggles* Yes! That's me!

Her: Are you hiring? Do you need an assistant?

Me: *lol* Not at the moment but soon!

It's the little things like this that confirm there's more to this jewelry career than I ever imagined.
