The month I finally get to hold you in my arms.

I’ve spent years wondering, wishing, envisioning, and preparing for you and now we’re only days away from that reality.

I hope you have felt all the love I’ve felt the entire time I’ve had the privilege of carrying you.

It’s bittersweet as this time is coming to an end, but I know it’s only just the beginning of something so magical.

If 20 year old Alexis could see that all of her dreams she’s ever had would come true by the young age of 29, she’d go through every hard season in her life with the biggest smile on her face.

And that’s exactly the girl she is today.

I can’t even begin to express my gratitude for this life and how it’s unfolding.

The biggest thing I’ve learned in this life is that every no, every door closed, and every heartbreak leads you exactly where you’re meant to be.

What’s meant to be will find you so organically and peacefully. And if it’s not organic or peaceful, it’s not for you.

And gratitude will take you far even in the worst case scenario.

Cheers to 29 years!! I have a feeling this is going to be one of my favorite years 🩵
