I received so many wonderful gifts this holiday season, but one of my absolute favorites was the gift I received from my little sister
Sarah has always enjoyed playing in the earth. She was the best at making mud pies for fairies when we were little and created the most unique and beautiful pottery in her ceramics classes in high school. I have not seen Sarah create in years, so when I opened this gift it was very extra special.
This little moon being is perfect for keeping your plants company, especially the baby plants that need extra special love, or keeping your mug of coffee or tea safe and is sure to bring you lots of smiles! My little moon being keeps me company while I create at my desk, and keeps my little propagated hedgehog aloe baby company as it sits in my favorite mug by . Sometimes I even catch it admiring my very special print!
Please help encourage Sarah to create more by leaving a comment or even sharing this little moon being and tagging her in it! I want her to know how very special her work is and that she should never stop creating!

PICKLES?!?
This pair was inspired by my favorite Christmas tradition growing up. Every year we hung a pickle ornament on our Christmas tree and by Christmas morning it had always somehow moved to a different spot on the tree. My siblings and I would open our presents excited for the opportunity to search for the pickle and be able to open the extra pickle present! Usually the pickle present ended up being a board game we could all play together, but it always stung a little when you were not the one that found the pickle.
These pickles are made using a lime LaCroix box, hand painted and paired with a fabulous magenta glass bead and a deep royal blue imperial jasper bead.

Finished this double layered wool blend beanie just in time for the market happening this Saturday from 10-2!!
Having only ever done this stitch with thicker yarn I was a little skeptical that it would be as effective with thinner yarn and I have to say I absolutely LOVE the way it turned out!
One downside though is that this hat is on the small side and would fit better on someone with a petite noggin. If you’re like me and have a big noggin it will still fit, but it will be SNUG! Don’t worry though I will be attempting this again and achieve a big noggin friendly fit!

Yes to both always being found at Cafe Steam. You can also find some AMAZING merchandise! Shirts (how to make friends is my favorite), Sweatshirts (super super comfy cozy), thermoses, and this pair of earrings among many others!
This pair was difficult to give up, but I would rather share them then keep them!
